1. Who we are

Nexabots is an IT services company based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, we act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

2. Data we collect

Information you give us

• Enquiries: name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, company, the services you're interested in, your message, how you heard about us and whether you requested an NDA.
• Job applications: name, email, phone, city, role, experience, links to your CV/portfolio and any note you add.
• Client projects: business contact details and information needed to deliver the services described in our agreement.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data our hosting provider logs to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.
• A small value in your browser's session storage to remember that you have seen our intro animation. See our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare proposals.
• To assess job applications and contact candidates.
• To deliver, support and invoice our services under a contract with you.
• To keep our website secure and prevent spam or abuse.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We process data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit a form) or for legitimate usespermitted by law, such as performing a contract or complying with legal requirements. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run our business (hosting, email, communication and project-management tools), under confidentiality obligations.
• Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
• Government or law-enforcement authorities when required by law.

Some providers may store data outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected and transfers comply with Indian law.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Job applications: up to 12 months so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Client and billing records: as long as required by tax and company law.

6. Security

We use reasonable security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, least-privilege access for staff and confidentiality agreements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach as required by law.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
• Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
• Ask us to erase it where it is no longer needed.
• Withdraw consent you have given.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any right, email hello@nexabots.in. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by law.

8. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
